Cole comes to us from Los Angeles, California but has had Kauai in his blood since he was a kid. Fortunate enough to call Kauai his summer home while growing up, it was only a matter of time until he became hooked on Scuba Diving. Cole did his first Discover Scuba when he was 11 and then became certified here at Seasport at 15. He became a PADI Instructor and has traveled extensively in order to share his passion for the ocean. When not working he can be found taking pictures, fun diving, paddle boarding, or cheering on his favorite sports teams at the local watering hole.

Growing up on the Jersey Shore, Morgan has salt water in her veins. After spending over a decade as a Fashion Designer and Artist in NYC, she set off to find a new home. Her personal motto of “yolo” has led her around the globe pursuing her passion of adventure travel and a career in diving. She trained in different countries across SE Asia and the Caribbean, her path ultimately leading to the beautiful island of Kauai. Here she gets to share her love of the ocean with people every day. When not underwater, you can find her frolicking around the beaches and jungles involved in some form of art or adventure. “You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.”

What do you say about a guy that just shows up everyday with a great attitude and does what ever needs getting done. Helping with customers, answering the phones, pumping NITROX, and fixing gear, you name it Don’s done it. Don has been with Seasport Divers continuously since 1995. He is a retired Police Sergeant of 22 years from Inglewood California. Don grew up in So Cal and spent many a day at Manhattan Beach. He likes to say he visited Kauai and never left. That was 15 years ago. If you’re up early you can see Don jogging everyday, he also is the master at finding rare shells.

Jim was born on O’ahu and lived in Honolulu for 8 years until his Dad retired from the Air Force and moved to the Mainland.  He lived in Kentucky and earned degrees in both English and Exercise Science to become a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Diabetes Wellness Specialist.  His Mother taught 18 years at Kalaheo High School on Oahu and upon losing her in 2014, brought her ashes to Kauai where he decided it was time to come back home to the islands.  He earned his PADI OWSI and quickly became a part of the company.  Jim is now the operations manager for the Kapaa store.  He has 5 kids and can be usually found in the woods or under the water.

Doreen was born right here on Kauai, but has lived on Oahu as well as Washington state and returned back to her island home in 2000. She has been with Seasport Divers for three years and is our resident “go-to” person for knowing where everything is in the store. When she isn’t keeping a tight rein on the inventory, she enjoys all forms of art and music and is a big fan of Kauai’s local talent.

Betsy has been putting up with us since January 2001 and without her everything would grind to a halt. She grew up in the Lake Tahoe area and has been on Kauai for 20 years. She’s most proud of raising her two sons, one of which is a Semi-Pro Surfer here in the islands. She handles all the accounting and somehow makes sense out of all the stuff we put her through. She truly is part of the backbone that makes this place work. We love Betsy… she writes our paychecks.
